About the Area

Darsham is a quiet and attractive village just off the A12 and situated about 5 miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coast, famous for its world class nature reserves, making it an ideal base from which to explore this most picturesque and diverse area. Priory Farm is about 1 mile from Darsham Station which has frequent local train and bus services as well as regular Inter-City connections to London.

The local shopping facilities include a mini-market at the garage and a farm shop. There is also a well stocked village store and Post Office at Yoxford, only 2 miles away. If you don't feel like cooking, there is no shortage of quality pubs, restaurants and tearooms to choose from with many specialising in using fresh local fish, meat and produce. The village pub, The Fox, is only a short walk from Priory Farm. Why not bring your own bikes and explore the country lanes at your leisure, or spend a few moments in quiet contemplation in one of our ancient parish churchs.

Both properties have current tourist information and local maps and guides.
